The FAIM (Flexible Automation and Intelligent Manufacturing) international conference is well-known for its role in advancing research, theories, and practices in automation and manufacturing. Over the years, FAIM has proven to offer valuable insights into technological advancements and managerial strategies. By providing scientific sessions, workshops, tutorials, and industry tours, the FAIM platform offers a comprehensive connection for academics and industry professionals. Throughout its history, FAIM has been hosted by several universities across Europe, America, and Asia.
The FAIM conference selects approximately 250-300 high-quality research papers through an accurate and strict peer-review process, published by hundreds of influential researchers in automation and manufacturing. This encourages cooperation between researchers to bridge the gap between research and practical application.
FAIM 2026 will be jointly organized in France by Icam Grand Paris Sud campus, the University of Évry (part of Paris-Saclay University), Paris-Est Créteil University (UPEC), and the Évry-Sénart Sciences and Innovation association (ESSI), with the support of the Grand Paris Sud conurbation.
These institutions combine academic excellence, technological expertise, and a strong social commitment.
Icam, an engineering school founded in 1898, is known for its human-centered approach and international reach. UPEC and Université Evry Paris-Saclay are key players in research fields such as artificial intelligence, robotics, healthcare, and Industry 4.0.
